Fight, freeze, flee — many would say these are our only options as humans. Yet wise ones will tell us we are more than meets the eye, more than a corporeal being in a physical world. Some call this added dimension the “soul.” And some would tell us we have within us the means to transcend ourselves. Of course, all is hypothetical until we have an experience for ourselves.

Consider now a fourth way — an approach not bounded by our limited selves and a physical world. What might that prove to be?

It is only by imagining another way that our minds … and souls … open to new possibilities.
