Speaking True: Guns, Tomahawks, and Tatas

A subject that comes up all the time professionally and in my personal encounters in the world is the value proposition. Now, if you're not familiar with that term, it's a marketing idea that explores giving people what they need and want, then finding a way to connect what we have or do to meet those needs and wants.

Now the point of this particular piece is not guns, tomahawks, tatas or value propositions, rather its an example to nudge us all toward always thinking about how our work or involvement meets the needs of someone. Of course it has to matter to us, else we would not invest ourselves. Yet if it does not produce real and perceived benefit for someone, we are not being as effective or fruitful as we could be.

In the end, getting to win-win is a win.
