Speaking True: To Be The Leader

What does 'leading' mean? And what does it have to do with Seeing True?

The original meaning of the word 'lead' meant to "shoulder the load; to show the way". While we tend to think of leadership as title or position, it's really about the means through which we engage others to more toward some desired end or result. At its simplest, whomever is helping move something forward is a leader.

As for Seeing True, given the importance of both leadership and followership, it’s useful to see leading in its true light, and to understand the key practices of the leader. Then perhaps we can get the valuable results we want and need.
